The nine-hour circuit combines Teide National Park, Masca, Icod de los Vinos and Garachico. You are paying for guided transport through several volcanic landscapes, not nine hours in Masca. That breadth is precisely why it suits a first visit and why it disappoints anyone wanting an unhurried village afternoon.
